Drawing upon the history of the port of Dunkirk, visitors gain an insight into daily life in ports and their essential role in maritime trade both in the past and today. Visiting the ships, the three-mast Duchesse Anne, the lightship Sandettié (both National Heritage Sites) and the barge Guilde complete the visit of the museum. Lastly, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Dunkirk coastline from the top of the lighthouse. TER Train Stop : Dunkerque. Museum: from 10am to 12:30 and from 1:30pm to 6pm.
