Carrière Wellington

The Wellington Quarry tells the story of the Battle of Arras in 1917. This network of underground galleries played a major role in the capture of the German lines and saved the lives of many the lives of many Allied soldiers by taking them underground. Guided tours must be booked in advance on 03 21 51 26 95. Open every day from 10am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm. Closed 01/01, 03 to 21/01 and 25/12. Train stop : Arras + Bus Line 7 stop "Jean Jaurès" or Bus Line 4 stop "Rex".
