La Piscine, Musée d'Art et d'Industrie André Diligent


Old swimming pool built by Albert Baert between 1927 and 1932 in an Art Deco style, restored as a museum in 2001 and enlarged in 2018 by Jean-Paul Philippon, La Piscine offers the richness of its collections of paintings, sculptures and applied arts in this place which was considered for more than fifty years as "the most beautiful swimming pool of France". Metro Ligne 2, stop : Gare Jean Lebas - Roubaix. Open Tuesday to Thursday from 11am to 6pm, Friday from 11am to 8pm and the weekend from 1pm to 6pm. Closed on Mondays and some bank holidays. CORONAVIRUS SPECIAL CONDITIONS Reservation recommended on the museum's website. Visiting time limited to 2 hours. Please provide a mask.

Les Boves Plus (boves + beffroi)


This tour, laid out into the town’s basements, tells you all about “the under-story” of Arras. Originally a chalk-pit, les Boves were dug from the 10th century and had multiple functions throughout the ages. + The ascent to the belfry: panoramic discovery of Arras and the countryside at 40m height. Built in the 1950s to sort mail from the Lille metropolitan area, then converted into a cultural venue for Lille 2004, European Capital of Culture, the Tripostal has become a major space for contemporary creation.
