lille3000 - Exhibition "Au bout de mes rêves"

From October 6, 2023 to January 14, 2024 The Vanhaerents Art Collection is one of the largest private collections of contemporary art in Belgium. Inspired by Jean Jacques Goldman's 1982 song of the same name, "J'irai au bout de mes rêves" resonates for Walter Vanhaerents as a daily commitment to risk-taking. In the image of this collection, the Au bout de mes rêves (At the end of my dreams) exhibition, installed on the three floors of the Tripostal building, is intended to be strong and committed, but also full of light and wonder in these grey times. Where there are dreams, there is hope of change or a new beginning. Here, the dream of a collection built up with passion over 50 years has become a reality. Schedule : > Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Location: Tripostal (avenue Willy Brandt, Lille)

The Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain offers a program of resolutely interdisciplinary exhibitions that touch on fields as varied as cinema, music, architecture, design, science and philosophy. For many years, the Cartier Foundation has been involved in major current issues. Nature and the environment, climate change and its repercussions on migration, the destruction of the animal and plant world, deforestation and the disappearance of indigenous languages and cultures, or even the creative and scientific impact of contemporary mathematics, are all of themes that she has explored thanks to collaborations between artists and scientists.

For Utopia, the Cartier Foundation invests the Tripostal and designs an exhibition based on a selection of works and installations from its collection related to the theme of Nature.
